Firmware Updates

Alien DVR firmwares are shipped encapsulated into a Windows installer/updater. You should apply the update via a Windows PC on the same local network as your DVR, it is not appropriate for remote use via the Internet or VPN.

The updater is password protected in an attempt to ensure you use the latest version and not an earlier or older version by mistake.
