- 4, 8 or 16 camera inputs
- BNC connections at the rear of the unit facility easy connection of up to 4, 8 or 16 cameras depending on model.
- H264 compression
- The latest codec from the MPEG4 stable. Greater efficiency for file storage and network transmission.
- Network connection
- Via Ethernet socket at rear of unit utilising TCP/IP. Connection is possible directly to a PC via a crossover cable or to a router via a patch cable for connection to the Internet.
- Easy mouse control
- The AlienPro DVR features a mouse driven menu system for ease of navigation.
- Built in DVD writer
- In addition to on board hard disk storage, the AlienPro DVR has a built in DVD writer enabling the distribution of evidential recordings.
- Remote handset
- Each unit is supplied with a remote control for ease of use.
- NEW Remote monitoring on a mobile
- A compatible mobile phone can be used to view individual channels and to operate Pan Tilt Zoom (PTZ) cameras.
- Real-time recording on every channel
- The AlienPro DVR is able to record at a rate of 25 Frames per second on each channel. It also has definable frame rates of 1, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 15, 16, 18, 20, 22 and 25 frames per second.
- Up to 8 Tb HDD capacity
- The AlienPro DVR has a hard drive capacity of up to 8 terabyte in size or 4 terabytes when a dvd writer is fitted.
- Built-in video motion detect
- The AlienPro DVR can be configured to trigger a recording on any channel by motion detect. A great feature, which means that recordings are only made when needed and hard disk space is used more efficiently.
- Client Software
- The AlienPro DVR is supplied with a CD containing all relevant software to be able to contact the unit over a network or via a mobile phone.
- NEW Single audio input assignable to any or all channels plus talkback
- A talkback facility is offered where a remote user is able to send live or recorded audio over a network connection which is then output via the DVR's audio output.
- Triplex - record, play & remote access!
- Triplex operation means that the DVR will continue to record even when files are being searched or when files are being viewed remotely.
- Both VGA and composite video output.
- The AlienPro DVR provides a VGA out put and 2 composite outputs (a monitor output and a spot monitor output). The DVR is configurable to PAL or NTSC video standards.
- Control Devices Remotely
- Using the remote control relays, you can connect to the AlienPro DVR via a PC or laptop and switch up to 4 relays on or off.
- Auto Time Synch
- The AlienPro can be configured to have it's time and date regularly updated via a network PC. On installation with multiple DVRs all the DVRs can be automatically updated so that they are all in sync with each other.
- Remote Data Store
- In addition to it's own massive storage of up to 8Tb the alienPro can also back up files to a PC or server using the IPDataStore software (optional extra).
- Dual Back-Up Option
- With a built in DVD writer the AlienPro DVR can store files on a DVD disk in two formats: H264 format for large amounts of video data or AVI format which can be played back on a DIVX compatible DVD player, ideal for giving to the police as evidence.
- Tri-Stream Technology
- Tri-Stream technology enables high quality video recording locally at the DVR and lowered resolution transmission to networked PCs or a mobile phone at rates that won't cause bandwidth issues.
- Up to D1 Resolution
- Using the very latest technology and the Da Vinci DSPs by Texas instruments the alienPro is a truly powerful DVR. It can record in real time on all channels in 2CIF resolution and half real time on all channels at D1 resolution.
